Really upset about this service. Thought I found a inexpensive way to ship clothing from America to Germany. Everything went well till I got a call from the German FedEx I had to pay 140€ extra on top what I already payed ($82). Next time I will use DHL it's the same price on the end and it's way faster. Don't trust the prices on the page you will have to pay later on a huge amount to get you package.

Thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry to hear of your disappointment.
Unfortunately, Cusstoms fees are out of our control. Each country has a different set of rules regarding Customs -- all Customs fees are chargeable by and payable to the local Customs authority.
Since Customs is a government agency, they have the authority to raise import fees at their own discretion, and information on these duty charges is considered protected and will not be disclosed to the courier prior to the charges being raised. The recipient is the only person who can get a breakdown of the charges, however, these are normally based on the value or nature of the goods.
All Parcel Monkey international orders are shipped DDU (delivered duty unpaid). Any customs fees owed will need to be paid for by the recipient, as explained during the booking process. When this order was booked, you agreed that you take responsibility for the importation process in the destination country and all this entails.
