Do not use this service or parcel monkey in general!

I sent a package the last week of september to Mexico for Oregon. The package was sent to London and it is still in there. I lost 50 dollars by now because it hasnt arrive and I dont think it will ever arrive. Do not use this service, I read a lot of bad reviews about this company and I thought that maybe I could be lucky, oh well, no!

The parcel had a delivery attempt in Mexico and is waiting for your customer to pick it up from local post

Room for improvement

I was getting a bit annoyed with the constant reminder of rating this service before the parcel even arrived and before I had any idea it would have arrived well. Isn't there a way to internally check whether the parcel has arrived before sending all the reminders? In total this package took 25 days from US to Europe, which I find far too long. It appeared ha have laid around for 8 days without moving at all. Not sure what caused this, but in my view an necessary delay.
Also, when I go the initial quote, it was much lower than what I paid in the end, causing me to not being able to fully forward my costs to the customer causing some losses on my side.
Having known the exact cost before would have been better to establish an invoice with the full costs of shipping.
I have not heard back from my customer whether the parcel has arrived well or whether it was damaged on the way, so I might want to write a followup to this. -
