question on additional $3.06 charge

Your service is great, but I cannot agree with the additional $3.06 charge applied one month after my package was delivered. The package was declared with dimensions of 7” x 8” x 2” and a weight of 5 lb. I personally measured the box dimensions at home, and the actual weight was indeed less than 5 lb, so I am unclear about the reason for this extra charge.
According to the email I received from your company, additional charges occur when the dimensions and/or weight provided at the time of booking are lower than those recorded by the courier company. However, the declared weight and dimensions were accurate in this case. Could you please clarify why this charge was applied?
