Based on the information available when I purchased the service delivery was expected on Monday December 6th - apparently an attempt at delivery was made on Dec 8th - the recipient was at home but was not contacted, a note was left saying delivery would be attempted the next day but not attempt was made. The package was received today and it was in good condition. In this particular case the timing only critical to the extent that the recipient was home on the original expected day of delivery.
