USPS Priority International

USPS Priority Mail International can be booked via the Parcel Monkey shipping calculator and allows shippers to access a reliable and fully tracked international mail service from the USA to over 180 destinations around the globe.

Priority Mail International is a cheaper alternative to express services and a cost-effective option for non-urgent deliveries, which require a tracked international shipping service

USPS international shipping rates

The cost of sending a Priority Mail International parcel depends on the weight, size and destination. This is the same for all courier services, so the easiest and most accurate way to get a USPS Priority International quote is though our simple quote calculator.

Package your item, then enter the weight and dimensions. We’ll provide you with a USPS Priority International price, along with prices for other USPS shipping services and quotes from other carriers so you can compare to ensure you’re getting the best deal.

USPS Priority International delivery times

Priority Mail International transit times vary depending on where you are shipping to.

If you are shipping to neighboring countries such as Canada or Mexico then you can expect estimated transit times of around 6 working days. The same sort of time can be expected to major destinations in Europe.

If shipping to South America, Africa or Asia from the US, the USPS shipping times are more likely to be around 10 working days. USPS Priority Mail international transit times to Australia would be the same.

Priority Mail International tracking

Priority Mail International parcels can be tracked door to door through our USPS tracking tool. You can share the tracking information with the recipient, so they can also see when your package is set to arrive.

We always advise that you provide a contact number for the recipient so the local courier can get in touch with them if there is an issue with the final delivery.

Booking Priority Mail International with Parcel Monkey

Shipping labels

When you book USPS Priority International with Parcel Monkey, you’ll be provided with a shipping label to attach to your package. Learn more about how to print and attach shipping labels.

Customs documents

If you’re sending a parcel overseas, it’s likely you’ll need to complete a customs declaration form detailing the contents of your package and the value. However, this is included in our booking process for USPS international packages. We’ll ask you the relevant questions and provide you with a completed customs form to print and attach to your package.

Find out how to print your customs form and ensure your package clears customs without unnecessary delays by following our customs advice.

Can I book protection cover?

Yes, you can. If you’re shipping a high-value item, you may want to include protection cover. With USPS Priority Mail International, you can add protection cover up to the value of $1,000.00. This can be added during the booking process.

Where can I drop off my package?

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Where is the nearest package drop off point?

In most cases we will be able to show you when you book where the nearest package drop off point is. This is provided during the booking process and this information will come from the courier. If you cannot locate the drop off location using our booking tool, you will be able to use the carriers website directly or ask one of our Live Chat agents and we will be happy to help.

We will inform you off which store you need to take the package to and drop it into whether it is FedEx or USPS when you select one of the courier services available on our site.

  • How do I get my shipping label for my package?

A package won’t get very far without the very important shipping label. You can print these out from your Parcel Monkey account or from the shipping confirmation email.  To find your shipping label once you have booked, just got to My Account > Orders and from there you will able to print it.

It is essential that once you have printed them out that you attach them securely to the outside of the package so that the couriers handling the item know where to deliver the item to and can scan them with no issues.

For further information about how you should attach the shipping labels have a read of our guide.

Some of our international courier services come with a label that only has a US address on such as DHL eCommerce. This label will ensure your package is shipped to the sorting facility operated by our courier partners who will then scan in your package and attach the international label before they post it overseas.

When you place an order using our shipping calculator, it doesn’t matter which courier you select, a label will be provided, the same as for Drop Off services. At the moment we do not offer a service where labels are provided by the courier, so you will require a printer to book with Parcel Monkey.

You can also find your Customs Documents for international shipping in the same places and these also need to be attached to the outside of the package before you ship it.

  • What can I send using your package delivery services?

Our customers ship a whole spectrum of items around the world using our services including items sold on eBay or Amazon, gifts, clothing, wedding dresses, books, gym equipment, vinyl records, auto parts and much more!

Each carrier will have their own restrictions on what they are willing to carry but some obvious things that cannot be sent are liquids, glass and batteries.  On our destination pages you can find links to more resources about what can and cannot be sent to certain destinations.

Please ensure you check the Parcel Monkey prohibited items list when you are booking, as if you send something prohibited it may be returned or not covered with insurance if damaged.
