Can I arrange a courier to pick up a parcel from another address?
This is one of our frequently asked questions and the answer is quite simply - yes. When booking a courier to collect a package for shipping that package doesn't have to originate at your own address. Some of our customers buy items on eBay and then choose to arrange a collection from the sellers address. Goods being sold online often don't come with shipping and you have to set this up, so a simple solution for both you and the shipper is to send them the labels to attach to the package and they just have to hand it over to the courier when they come to collect.
Other customers wish to arrange a package delivery for friends and family that either don't have a credit card or debit card or just don't like using them online. Despite our system being secure, we understand that some people don't like ordering online. However, you're more than welcome to book on behalf of a family member and get the package collected from their home or work address and shipped to the chosen destination.
Some customers choose to book collection in the evening when they have time to sort pack their package and compare shipping costs and then they decide to have the parcel collected from their place of work during the day rather than take it to their local Post Office - especially in inclement weather. Customers who have opted for this option need do no more than simply inputting the correct address for the courier to collect from and ensure that someone will be present at that address on the date you have chosen to hand over the package and take the receipt from the courier. Obviously you will have to trust this person that hands the package over if it is is not you, with this information as it may be required in result of claim being made against the shipment.
