When you wish to return items to Target, you should read the Returns Policy to make sure you are completing the process correctly in order to get a refund.
Most unopened items sold by Target in new condition and returned within 90 days will receive a refund or exchange. Some items sold by Target have a modified return policy noted on the receipt, packing slip, Target.com or in the item department. Items that are opened or damaged or do not have a receipt may be denied a refund or exchange.
Refunds will go back to the original form of payment used when you purchased the goods and typically take between 1-3 days to go back to a credit card. It can take up to 5 days once your item has been returned to Target for them to be processed and checked before a refund can be issued.
You will need to sign into your target.com account and then select 'Orders' and then choose the item you want to return. Next to the item, select the return and receipts and select print mailing label, which is free. Let Target know the reason as to why you want to return the item and then submit to access your free returns label, which you will need to print out and attach to the package.
Prepare your package to ensure it is shipped safely, with the invoice inside the box, and drop off your package at an approved UPS location. Remeber to use the original packaging and ensure the items are in the condition they arrived in or you may not be refunded.
