Can you send chocolate in the mail?

Chocolate is a popular and versatile gift which can be given on any occasion. However, chocolate is not a good gift to send in the mail.

Chocolate has a melting point of 86-90 degrees Fahrenheit, which is lower than body temperature. This means there is a good chance that if you mail chocolate overseas, or even within the US, it will not arrive in the condition you sent it.

Sending chocolate internationally

It is not recommended to ship chocolate internationally from the US. Instead, consider one of the following options:

• Order directly from specialty companies such as Hershey's or M&Ms.

• Find a distributor based in the destination country.

• Use a service such as A Taste of The States (UK-based) to deliver American chocolate to international recipients.
