the service is very slow .. my package has been at the transit office for 6 days .. and no idea when it will be sent out. I was hoping my mum in the UK would receive it before Christmas … looking highly unlikely at this rate

The package was delivered to Switzerland. I did not receive a notice that it had been delivered so do not know how long it took to make the journey from Colorado. I believer it was close to three weeks.
I saved so much money working through Parcel Monkey, and was in no rush to have the thank you gift delivered. It is something to be aware of if you need an expedited delivery. -

Parcel Monkey YAY! DHL BOO!

I sent two different packages using Parcel Monkey. 1st was heading from west coast US to Japan (FedEx) it $50 & 5-star experience :) However, this 2nd package I sent happens to be the worst experience as far as sending a parcel goes. Just under $50, heading west coast US to Poland via USPS (to New York) and then DHL took over. I was told 10-16 business days and it's just passed the 16th business day. Tracking says it's in New Jersey. I won't select DHL service again. I do not think this is Parcel Monkey's fault either & the USPS part was quick. I'm disappointed in the process for just this order. Next time I'll pay the extra $50 to have the order shipped to Poland via FedEx in less than a week.
Again, this isn't Parcel Monkey's fault. DHL seems to be really slow/unreliable. I just hope my friend gets their package before Christmas (I sent my parcel on Nov. 18) The tracking with DHL is terrible compared to FedEx. I suggest you pay extra for FedEx to deliver your parcels.Agent replied on 01/07/20

We have reached out to DHL eCommerce to investigate and they did advise that unfortunately the postal network has been experiencing delays due to an unprecedented number of parcels shipped this holiday season. However, I can confirm this parcel was delivered on December 20.

It was my first time to ship packages overseas using this method.
I did not know the package had arrived at the destination and was at "customs" until 3 weeks later.
I am happy that my package arrived at the destination at a affordable cost, however I wished that there was a way to track it all the way to when the consignee receives the package. This is the only complain I have. Thank you!
