I liked the tracking updates, so I could follow where my parcel was. I was just hoping that this parcel get to the addressee before New Year Day. Otherwise I liked it and will use the service again

The package was mysteriously picked up and delivered within two weeks from the hub (it took 4 days from drop-off location to the hub.) I m very happy with the service for price that I had paid.

Beware Hidden Fees
By DB on 01/08/19
Courier was listed as DHL on Parcel Monkey site but actual delivery firm in the UK was Parcelforce. On a package with a declared value of under $100, UK customs levied a charge of 18 pounds (roughly $23) and then Parcelforce levied an additional "clearance fee" of 12 pounds (roughly $15) - with all fees to be paid before package would be delivered. I understand that customs fees are out of the control of Parcel Monkey, but the likelihood of these fees being applied should be clear when purchasing the service. They currently are not. These fees are very high compared to the relative value of the parcel. Additionally, in previous years I have sent packages from the USA to the UK via USPS and none of these fees have ever been levied - what you pay at the USPS counter in the USA is what it costs for the entire delivery. In the end Parcel Monkey ended up considerably more expensive than USPS. Beware of these hidden fees. We will be returning to USPS for our future parcel deliveries.

Post office better for shipping Christmas gifts
By Mary coffin on 01/08/19
The shipment arrived after Christmas. My receiver was charged DUTY when my Christmas packages of candy and toys less than usd $100 have never been charged duty before. My friends had to track down some obscure po in Cambridge England to finally get their package that they had to pay the ransom (duty) for. Postal service more expensive but I’m going back to it next year.

Hello, Mary,
We are sorry to hear that you are disappointed with the service provided. Please be advised that all parcels exported are subject to customs fees set by the destination countries customs agency. Please note that this is required for the parcel to be cleared in to the country.
