There were several issues and unecessary delays, and customs was especially frustrating. There would be week long gaps where I would not receive any status updates on my parcel, some of them even being incorrect. The tracker initially said that the parcel had been delivered (even though my girlfriend, the recipient, was home the whole day and was not alerted to anything of the sort). It took both of us doing an entire week’s worth of searching to find that it hadn’t even cleared customs and that “customs charges have yet to be paid”. My parcel was categorized as a gift and yet HMRC felt this was not sufficient to have it waivered. The fact that she still had to pay customs charges even though neither of us were gaining monetary profit is absolutely outrageous and downright infuriating.
Customer service was extremely helpful during this time, but due to the slow and faulty status updates and the ridiculousness of HMRC policy, I may think twice before doing this again.

I lost my parcel and will never recommend to anyone. Also, I am not sure how to get refund for the courier charge and $100 insurance value. Really a very bad first time experience for me.
