Slower and not as reliable anymore

This service used to be great but the speed of how long it takes to get a package to someone in Europe from the US has decreased 70% compared to last year (not necessarily Parcel Monkey's fault and instead part of the current global logistic issue...but you should know). On this particular package I'm reviewing here all kinds of things went wrong. The courier company kept reporting "Delivery Attempt Failed" but in reality nobody attempted to deliver anything or left a note to pick the package up. We had to track it down on our own and by sheer luck my brother managed to pick it up at a DHL station one day before they were going to send it back.
