great service, does not include VAT

shipped my package from Seattle to the uk.
well tracked and was able to keep up to date on where the package was the whole time.
the one thing that was wrong with the service was i still had to pay for VAT.
i guess i didn't read it, but was just something i wasn't aware of when choosing the service.
however i believe this is my fault and not theirs.
service was great and will defiantly use them again.

Great service for shipping heavier packages oversees

I contracted TrakPak for shipping half a dozen boxes from the US to EU. I used online calculator to figure out allowed size and weight of my packages as well as the cost. Then I got boxes and spread the weight. I printed out the shipping labels and custom declarations all at once. It took me some time to sort out which custom declaration and shipping label went on which package. I wish this was easier. Dropping off the packages at FedEx was easy. It took more than 2 weeks for the packages to be transported from the west coast to Chicago but then the shipment to London and the EU was fast. Total shipment time was just under 4 weeks. All packages arrived in a good condition. Cost-wise, it was a great deal and overall I am very satisfied with the service. Highly recommended for shipping heavier packages.

Extremely slow speed for price, rude delivery practices

$10 more than the cheapest USPS option, seemed reasonable for 4 day service. I sent two packages of the same size and weight to myself. The inexpensive USPS First Class mail arrived on the 4th business day. The package sent through this more expensive "TrakPak" service was stuck in Chicago for days even after the tracking showed it cleared customs. Ultimately, the package arrived on the 14th business day, 19 days in all. Finally, I received an email from the courier saying the package would be delivered on a certain day and that a signature was required. I stayed home and waited for the courier, but they never contacted me and didn't show up until the next day. So, by forcing a signature requirement (that I didn't request and wasn't informed of before the email informing me of impending delivery) the courier forced me to waste TWO days waiting for them. I would not recommend this service.
