I've been sending a box of toy cars measuring 22 X 18 X 18 about once a month to a small ebay seller in France for almost 10 years. Until the pandemic I was using USPS and never had a parcel opened by them or stopped by customs. The USPS hasn't been sending parcels to Europe since everything started shutting down in March. I've been force to use DHL to continue shipments. The three parcels I sent with DHL have all had issues. They've been opened by DHL security, they've been opened by customs on the U.S. side before going out and by French Customs. It's nothing special, only Hot Wheels cars and Disney Cars. My problem is all the damage that occurs to these collectible cars when the shipping box and inner boxes are opened, unpacked then crammed back in. Additionally, my buyer in France was required to get some kind of business tax number to claim his parcels. With USPS he paid the same amount of import taxes, but didn't need a tax number.
