Package did not arrive on advertised time frame

I paid for international economy which was advertised for the package to arrive in 2-5 days. Mine arrived in 9. Overall pretty standard service, did not have any issues. Luckily my package was not time sensitive, because a 4 day deviation would surely matter.
I also wish that the label lasted more than 3 days. I was informed that after label purchase after 3 days it would go invalid. Which is abit steep of a time considering sometimes we cannot drop off the package immediately.
But pretty satisfied other than that. Package arrived safely.

Good but consider the customs duties

Great service. Arrived one day before. The only thing is that I had to pay 25$ more for customs duties even if inside there was only books ad paperwork from my university. My question then is why I have to pay that?
