I sent a large car accessory from the US to Japan. I was being quoted about $900 by FedEx and UPS. Parcel Monkey was quoting me around $270 including insurance. I was skeptical but figured as long as I had insurance then I had nothing to lose, as it was too big to take back by hand. I dropped off at a FedEx location and even the guy at the drop off was surprised at the price. Low and behold it arrived within the promised 3 days at the destination location (Hiroshima) courtesy also of a FedEx delivery.
I don't know how they did it, but I'm very happy and would use the service again under similar circumstances. Thank you!
