No actual courier service to South Africa via USPS. Send at your own risk.
By Susan Lane-Ziegelaar on 04/15/24
There was no actual courier service via USPS in South Africa. Parcel ended up with the South Africa Post Office, which is a disaster. The addressee eventually located the parcel at the local Post Office and had to go and pick it up.
Parcel Monkey replied on 05/06/24
Dear Susan,
Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We apologize for any inconvenience you encountered regarding the delivery of your parcel via the South Africa Post Office.
It's important to note that USPS, being a postal service, typically transfers parcels to the local postal office in the destination country for final delivery. In this case, your parcel was indeed handled by the South Africa Post Office (SAPO). We understand that navigating the local postal system can sometimes be challenging, and we regret any difficulties you faced in locating and retrieving your parcel.
Your feedback is valuable to us, and we will use it to improve our services and better communicate the delivery process to our customers in the future. If you have any further concerns or questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.
Thank you for your understanding.
Warm regards,
The Parcel Monkey Team -

Parcel Monkey and USPS SUCKS!!
By Paul Blakely on 03/24/21
It stated 6-10 delivery to South Africa and it took 4 weeks just to get it from LA to Chicago. 6 weeks on it's still not where it needs to be. Ridiculous.
Ha! I just received a reply from Parcel Monkey who had their wittle feelings hurt because of my mean weview. :( They essentially say WE TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY for falsely stating on our website that delivery would take between 6-10 days, not 6 - 10 weeks.Agent replied on 03/24/21
Dear Paul, we are very sorry to see your review. We have replied to your request directly. Please, kindly note that it is USPS responsibility to honor the delivery deadline, howether as since the beginning of the COVID19 crise no carrier guaranties their delay anymore. Kind regards.
