Excellent Courier Service, but Customs is a Nightmare

My item was very quickly and safely delivered to my recipient in Canada. The process was easy - just print labels and attach them, then drop them off at the nearest FedEx. Tracking and insurance is covered in the low price.
My only qualm is that there was no information regarding additional charges incurred from the nightmare that is customs. Sure, there was a warning, but I wish I would have received information that was less vague. My recipient was charged $50 on a $200 item (even more than the cost of shipping!). Because of this, I sadly will not be using Parcel Monkey again unless this is addressed (if it even can), despite my great experience. I will take the lower cost upfront fee with UPS over this.
