Chronopost's relay services offer you the opportunity to have your parcel delivered to a Chronopost Pickup Point, which is particularly useful if the recipient isn't going to be available to receive their parcel, instead they can collect it at a time that's convenient.
Chronopost Relais is available for next day delivery in France before 1.00 pm (Chrono Relais 13) and deliveries throughout Europe. You'll have the choice to drop off your parcel or book a collection.

What’s a Chronopost Relais Pickup Point?
A Chronopost Relais Pickup Point can be located at any merchant’s physical location, be it a corner shop, florist, post office, or bookshop. These are businesses that have a contract with Chronopost and will allow you to drop off, ship, receive or return your Chronppost packages in person. Chronopost also operates over 400 ‘pickup stations’ in France and about 2,000 across Europe. Pickup stations are automated lockers that can be found at various bus stops, train stations, shopping centres and post offices. They allow customers to pick up their parcels 24/7 at their own convenience.

How many Chronopost Pickup Points are there?
In France, there are 9,000 Chronopost Pickup Points and there are more than 32,000 Pickup Points in Europe and overseas so it's a really accessible service for sending parcels in France and abroad.

How do I know when and where my package is ready to pick up?
Once your parcel is delivered to a Relay Pickup Point, the recipient will get a text message confirming the location of the parcel, as well as a unique QR code. They will need to present this, along with proof of identity when they pick the parcel up. If the parcel was delivered to a locker instead, you will be notified by text or email of the location of the pickup point and your items will be held there for 7 days before being returned to the sender.

What's the weight and size limit for Chrono Relay?
The maximum weight limit for Chrono Relais is 20kg, which is slightly less than other Chronopost services. If you're sending something over 20kg Chrono 13 is also available as a standard delivery service (delivers to the recipient's address) and that will take parcels up to 30kg.
The maximum length for Chrono Relais is 100cm.
