How does USPS tracking work?
USPS tracking works by logging the whereabouts of your package during transit, so you have full visibility throughout.
When you complete your order and print your shipping label, the label will contain a barcode which will be scanned at various points throughout the delivery. This will give you a step by step view of your package from the point where you dropped it off to final delivery.
How do I track a USPS package?
To track a USPS package, you’ll need your USPS tracking number (found on the shipping label) or your Parcel Monkey shipment number (starting PMS).
Enter either of these numbers into our USPS tracking tool for tracking updates on your package. Alternatively, you’ll be able to track your package via the USPS website using your USPS tracking number.
Share USPS tracking information
When you choose a USPS shipping service with Parcel Monkey, it’s easy to share the USPS tracking information with the recipient. Simply give them the Parcel Monkey shipment number and they’ll be able to follow the package until it’s delivered.
You should always provide a local contact number of the recipient, especially if you’re shipping overseas. This will enable customs or the courier to contact them directly if there’s a problem.
