What is expedited shipping? 

If you're not sure what expedited shipping is, expedited is in some cases the same as express, however, this can differ depending on the shipping company. 

In general, expedited or express shipping simply means your package will be sent via a fast courier service, so it will be prioritized over other items. For US domestic deliveries, an expedited service could have your parcel delivered as quickly as the next day. 

Typically you will pay more for an expedited shipping service than you will for a standard shipping service, but Parcel Monkey can help you find and book discounted domestic and international expedited services with reputable carriers, such as DHL, UPS and USPS. 

How long does expedited shipping take?

For US domestic deliveries, expedited shipping times could be as fast as next day, with some services, such as USPS Priority Express, you can even specify delivery the next morning - now that's fast! 

Expedited shipping to overseas destinations obviously takes a little longer, but premium express couriers, such as DHL Express, will deliver to most major international destinations in 1-2 business days.

Cheaper international expedited shipping services, such as UPS Worldwide Expedited, take 2-5 business days, but often arrive in a shipping time closer to 2 days to major locations, making them great value for money.

Expedited shipping tracking 

When you book a premium expedited courier service with Parcel Monkey, you will be able to track your package in full.

The package will be scanned multiple times on its way to delivery and you can share this information with the recipient. Simply enter your Parcel Monkey shipment number (it starts with PMS) into the tracking tool on the Parcel Monkey website and you will be able to see all the events the courier has reported back to us. You can also use your PMS number to track your parcel via the courier’s website.
